Roshini Pillay
Project Lead
Roshini Pillay is an Associate Professor in Social Work at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research interests includes group work, technology-enhanced learning in social work education, social justice, and Occupational Social Work. She is a member of the International Association for Social Work with Groups (IASWG). She is of the view that podcasts as an addition to teaching can engage student and support flexible learning at any time and at any spaces using a smart phone. She is currently working on a podcast called Social Work Khuluma to support social work education. She is one of the editors of a 2023 book called Transforming Teaching and Learning for Helping Professions in Higher Education: Global Perspectives by Brill.
